It is incredible how life functions. Years ago around 1996 or 97 I read a NY Times article or some other newspaper where Miss Eliot and her jazz gathering was the subject, however no address or contact information was provided within the article, this is what I remember, and so yrs later I come to hear of Miss Eliot through a beloved friend/brother of mine and I can't wait fo rit to be Sunday already to head out there and live out this long awaited experience. Many blessings to all who make this happen. ciao! Gary

Ms.Elliot, I love your place and if you might remember,I am the gentelman from Dallas Tx who visited in the summer & simultaneously atended my daughters wedding.Anyway I've let things take priority in my life over what when I visited you were my sincere wishes to support your efforts in keeping jazz, keeping on.I so respect what you do,I would like to donate to your effort financialy on a yearly basis.Though I am not much better off than my social security check,I see no reason I couldn't send $100.00.Where should I send it? City Lore? How would I contact them? In the mean time thank you for doing what you do for AMERICA. Al Berman

Ms.Elliot, I just sent ypu an email saying I wish to financially contribute to your efforts & requesting information as to how & where I should do so.After reading the article in the N.Y.Times 2003 above,I have the answer I need.I am endeared towards you & see no more efficient, nor trust worthy place to give my support than directly to you!I have your address & if I can overcome my feelings about your good & needed work, thereby giving myself the ability to get away from this computer,I then can sit down & write you a check you should have in 2-3 days. Happy happy holidays, your new friend, Albert Berman

Dear Marjorie, I am originally from Munich, Germany, living in New York since several years. I visit your Parlor Jazz Event now for years as often as I can and brought over a lot of my friends from around the world, including my mom and my sisters. I would like to tell you on behalf of all the other worldwide fans that everybody is totally overwhelmed from your personal charming and charismatic aura, and from the magnetic professionalism of this kind of jazz with all those diverse great musicians in your living room - the best idea and the best concept ever! But what would be the concept without you ? Nothing. We are all so touched and grateful and I want to thank you with all my heart for those magnificent and breathtaking afternoons of joy and happiness, love, Susanne M. Zaninelli

11/3/05 Dear Marjorie, Thank you for a wonderful day this past Sunday. It was worth every mile from Los Angeles. What you are doing is so important. Keeping this wonderful music alive and available to your community is a true blessing. My wife, my friends and I appreciate your allowing us into your world, if only for a brief afternoon.I will never forget the sights, sounds, love, joy and sense of togetherness that I felt in your parlor on that sunny day in Harlem. We will be back again. We would also like to help if we can. What is the best way to ease the financial burden? Let me hear from you when you have a moment. Norman Cuttler ncuttler@sbcglobal.net

I read about your Sunday concerts in Loren Schoenberg's column in the magazine Jazz UK. Your website is very informative and I wish you well with your efforts. Jazz lives in Scotland too! We have a vibrant jazz music scene here and musicians like Tommy Smith are doing wonders educating young musicians. Good luck to you. Greg Greenoak

This is New York's best kept open secret. For a truly wonderful afternoon of music and good community spirit give yourself a real treat and take the A train uptown to Marjorie's house. It's well worth the trip. I have brought many visitors to this magical musical tribute. No-one has ever been disappointed.....they have been thrilled by this magical offering. Congratulations Marjorie for all your hard work. We love you. Lizzie Brown

I have been blessed to have been re-located from New Orleans immediately after 'Katrina' to find that I did not have to so dearly miss all of the intimate jam sessions I was accustomed to amongst friends.  My best afternoons since that time have been in the company of greatness in the historic location that easily transports me on a toot of the sax to a place that I am sure the jazz greats also found themselves.  I am a bit overdue to come again, and will indeed do that as many times as possible...now that I know this welcoming address.   LOVE you all...Mitch
